New Perspectives in Science Education

Neville Dimech has been teaching for the past twenty-one years in various Primary Schools in the Maltese Islands. His principal areas of teaching were Personal and Social Development, the delivery of a Thinking Skills Programme for Early and Middle years as well as Basic Computer orientation courses for adults. He has held In-Service Training for Teachers as well as Professional Development Sessions in State Primary Schools. Mr Dimech is currently involved in the teaching of Primary Science in both Early and Middle years. Mr Dimech is interested in simple, practical and creative ideas for Project Based Learning, Problem Based Learning and Hands-on Learning especially when applied to the teaching of Primary Science.
