Antonella Bachiorri is the Scientific Coordinator of CIREA - Centro Italiano di Ricerca ed Educazione Ambientale, Department of Chemistry, Life Sciences and Environmental Sustainability at the University of Parma, Italy.
She is graduated in Biology and holds a PhD in Ecology and a Master in Education for Sustainability. Since the 90’s, she has constantly been working in the field of Education for Sustainability and has been involved in many national and international projects and initiatives.
Her academic interests cover education for sustainability with a special focus on whole-school approaches (included sustainable universities), teacher’s training, teaching/learning processes, environmental ethics and participative methodologies.
Antonella was member of the scientific committee of different Congresses, is member of the Editorial Boards of academic Journals and is author/co-author of publications and resource materials in the field of education for sustainability.
