At present, Cristina Raluca Gh. Popescu is a Full-Professor at the University of Bucharest, Romania, at the Faculty of Business and Administration, at the Department of Economic and Administrative Sciences and PhD. Supervisor and Doctoral School Member at The Bucharest University of Economic Studies of Bucharest, Romania, at the Faculty of Theoretical and Applied Economics, the Department of Economics and Economic Policies, the Doctoral School of “Economics I”.

She currently collaborates with the University of Craiova, Romania and is a scientific researcher at The National Institute of Research and Development for Environmental Protection (I.N.C.D.P.M.) (operating under the coordination of the Ministry of National Education) at The Department of Natural and Technological Hazards and at the National Institute for Research and Development COMOTI TURBOMOTORS, Bucharest, Romania. As a scientific researcher at The National Institute of Research and Development for Environmental Protection (I.N.C.D.P.M.) and at the National Institute for Research and Development COMOTI TURBOMOTORS, Bucharest, Romania, she is a member of scientific and research teams at national and international level aimed to study issues of economic, managerial and interdisciplinary nature (on a contractual basis); capitalizing the research results in scientific publications on fields of interest for the economic and social environment.

Also, she is a Public Policy Expert at the Ministry of Research and Innovation (M.C.I.), Bucharest, Romania. Here she focuses on the elaboration and implementation of procedures for reducing the administrative burden for the business environment, specifically to research, development and innovation. She is keen on conducting a study on the opportunity of simplified fiscal measures for the business environment leading to the increase of private funds for R&D and also is centered on elaborating a simplified procedure for reducing the administrative burden on the business environment, respectively of the economic operators that carry out research, development and innovation activities. The general purpose of her work at the Ministry of Research and Innovation (M.C.I.), Bucharest, Romania is to evaluate and analyses the aspects that may constitute administrative burdens on the business environment, specific to the field of research and development and innovation (RDI), thus performing a study on the opportunity of simplified fiscal measures for the business environment leading to the increase of private funds for research-development and innovation and elaborating a simplified procedure for reducing the administrative burden on the business environment, respectively of the economic operators that carry out research-development and innovation activities.

Currently, Cristina Raluca Gh. Popescu is a Member of the Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania (CAFR), Bucharest, Romania as Financial Auditor, and a Member of the Authority for the Public Oversight of the Statutory Audit Activity (ASPAAS), Ministry of Public Finance, Bucharest, Romania as Financial auditor.

Starting with 2017, she is a review board member at IBIMA Conferences, IBIMA Publishing, USA.
Also, starting with 2012, she is a review board member of the International Journal of Health Economics (IJHE), the University of Bucharest, Romania, Faculty of Business and Administration, Department of Economic and Administrative Sciences. Additionally, since 2015 she is a review board member of the Journal of E-Government Studies and Best Practices, IBIMA Publishing, USA. Starting with 2019, she acts as review board member for Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute (MDPI) (Basel, Switzerland) publications, such as: Journal of Risk and Financial Management, Mathematics, Sustainability, Journal of Open Innovation: Technology, Market, and Complexity, Symmetry, Administrative Sciences, World, and Informatics. Starting with 2019, she acts as review board member for IGI Global – Publishing House (International Publisher of Information Science and Technology Research).

Cristina Raluca Gh. Popescu holds a PhD. in Economics and in Management, habilitations in Economics and Business Administration and mainly focuses on aspects related to Business Administration, Economics, and Management.
