Patcharee Rompayom Wichaidit

Patcharee earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with Second-Class Honours in 2004. She then completed a one-year Graduate Diploma in Teaching Profession in 2005. Later, she pursued her graduate studies in a combined master’s-to-doctoral track and completed her Doctor of Philosophy in Science Education in 2010. During 2008-2009 in this Ed.D. program, she spend time in doing research and got a certificate of the one year program of “The Program to Promote Research Methods in Science Education” at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Wisconsin, USA.
Over 16 years of professional experience, she has taught at the university level in both undergraduate and graduate programs, particularly in the areas of Chemistry Education, Science Education, and STEM Education. During her professional career, she was awarded funding for professional development at Massey University, Manawatu campus, in Palmerston North, New Zealand, where she undertook a three-month academic development program. She also received university funding to collaborate for one month with researchers at the National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore. She has published academic work in international journals indexed in Scopus and the ERIC database, with research focusing on chemical education, science education, and STEM education.
