Mousumee Hazarika is presently working as a Senior Secondary School Teacher by profession with a strong academic background and multidisciplinary expertise. She completed her schooling in 1995 and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with Honours in Mathematics in 1998.
Further strengthening her academic foundation, she pursued a second undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Education, in 2004. She subsequently completed her Master’s degree (M.A.) in Psychology in 2006 and later obtained a Master’s degree (M.A.) in Education in 2016.
In addition to her academic qualifications, she has earned the professional degree of Master of Education (M.Ed.), reflecting her commitment to pedagogical excellence and continuous professional development in the field of education.
At present, Ms Mousumee Hazarika is pursuing her PhD. in Education from Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya, Assam, India, to further strengthen her academic and research expertise in the field of Education.
Professionally, she has been serving as a Government Senior Secondary School Teacher since 2010. She is recognised as a dedicated and committed educator who approaches her profession with sincerity, integrity, and deep responsibility. Her close engagement with students reflects her learner-centred approach, and she remains actively connected with the broader societal community, contributing meaningfully to both academic and social development.
Prior to her current service, she served as a Clinical Psychologist at a Government Hospital in Morigaon, Assam, where she provided professional psychological assessment, counseling, and therapeutic interventions to diverse patient populations.
