Sabina Eftimova is a Chief Assistant Professor at the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies (ULSIT), Sofia. She holds doctoral and multiple master’s and bachelor’s degrees in library and information sciences, psychology, pedagogy, communication, and social work.
In 2012, she defended the first PhD dissertation in Bibliotherapy in Bulgaria, establishing bibliotherapy as an academic and applied field in the country. Her research and teaching focus on library psychology, bibliotherapy, library pedagogy, and access to information for people with special needs. She is the author of the first Bulgarian textbook on Bibliotherapy, several teaching manuals, and over 150 scientific publications in Bulgaria and abroad.
