New Perspectives in Science Education

Dr. Kevin Davison is a Researcher and Lecturer with the School of Education at the National University of Ireland, Galway. He is the Director of the Professional Masters of Education Programme, and the Chair of the University Research Ethics Committee. He teaches sociology of education and research methods, and has a significant international research and publication record in the area of gender and education, and science outreach, including multiple peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, two books: Negotiating masculinities and bodies in schools (2007) and; Masculinities and schooling: International practices and perspectives (2007), as well as a report: A Review of science outreach strategies North and South (2008).
