Assist. Prof. Steliana Yordanova is a doctoral student in the PhD program "Organization and Management of Information Processes" at the Department of National Security of the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies, Sofia, Bulgaria.
Steliana holds the Master's Degree in National Security, State University of Library studies and information technologies, Sofia, Bulgaria and Bachelor's Degree in Archival and Documentary Studies, State University of Library studies and information technologies, Sofia, Bulgaria.
Currently she holds the position of Senior Expert at the „Institute of Informing Science, Management and Security“ and Assist. Prof. at the Department of National Security at the same university.
Her research interests are in the field of information processes management, system analysis, hybrid wars, colour revolutions, media communications, their intellectual and legal aspects and the National Security System control.
Steliana Yordanova participates in:
- a project, supported by the Ministry of Education and Science, Republic of Bulgaria, Internal competition for development of scientific projects under the Ordinance of the Ministry of Education and Science, "Research and field research in the area of the Southeast Border”, with project coordinator: Assoc. Prof. Diana Stoyanova PhD;
- a project, supported by the National Science Fund at the Ministry of Education and Science, Republic of Bulgaria. Competition for funding basic research of young scientists and postdoctoral students, "Model for research and increase of copyright literacy in media in university environment", with project coordinator: Eng. Evelina Zdravkova PhD.
She has participated as an author and co-author in international and national educational and scientific conferences and seminars and has publications in the field of national security and information process management. Co-author in a scientific study.
Areas of expertise: She has experience in public and private administration, as well as in training students in national security and information technology (in reality as well as in virtual reality).
