New Perspectives in Science Education

Valentina Radeva holds two Master's degrees - the first one in Pedagogy of Fine Arts (2001) and the second one in Law (2012). Since the beginning of 2008 she has been a full-time lecturer at the Ruse University "Angel Kanchev" (Bulgaria). In 2015 she successfully defended her dissertation in the professional field of Pedagogy for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the scientific specialty of Theory of Education and Didactics. She teaches courses related to the methodology of teaching fine arts in preschool and primary school stage. She also conducts practical classes in subjects related to construction and technology, technology and entrepreneurship. Involved in conducting ongoing observations and practices of student teachers in both elementary school and kindergarten.
She is a co-author of art textbooks from 1st to 4th grade and of cognitive art books for kindergarten - from 1st to 4th age group at the publishing house Bit & Tehnika OOD – Varna City (https://www.bititechnika.com/).
She is the author of two training programmes for the improvement of the qualification of pedagogical specialists at the same publishing house, which have been approved by the Ministry of Education and Science. Every year she conducts training courses for the award of qualification credits to pedagogical specialists. The programmes are:
"Current educational strategies to support the creative potential of students in primary art education" (approved by Order № RD 09-1041 / 25.01.2017 of the Ministry of Education and Science) (1st – 4th grade)
