Innovation in Language Learning

The rhetorical prominence and importance of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in higher education continues to grow year after year.  They   are regularly used by students for learning, creating, interacting, and entertaining. Indeed significant and enduring disparities in ICT use exist between students. 

The main purpose of this paper is to investigate the accessibility and attractiveness of different types of ICT applications in higher education for male and female university students. It explores the differences between male and female use of ICT both within and outside university, for educational, entertainment and socializing purposes. This paper draws on a study conducted at Sultan Moulay Slimane University in Beni Mellal, Morocco.  It presents Data collected from students belonging to the two sexes which gives an insight into their experiences with ICT and their attitudes towards its use in higher education. The research population consists of 200 university students. The hypothesis of the research is that male and female students use ICT differently.
