Abstract

The 21st century skills are a set of abilities that students need to develop in order to succeed in the information age. ICT is an essential part of 21st century learning. Educators are supposed to do innovative activities to make their class rooms meaningful.

Growing up with unprecedented access to technology has changed the way young people (Digital natives) communicate, interact, process information and learn. It is therefore a need of time to involve students in ICT based media projects to enhance their language learning and creativity.

During this workshop participants will learn how ICT can be used easily to create innovative projects, presentation and digital stories in the class room by doing simple steps. This workshop will also help participants to enhance their language skills, critical thinking and speaking skills.

In this workshop participants will be able to know about the steps of making media projects with the help of pictures, video clips, flash cards and voice over. They will also watch creative sample video to more ideas. After that participants will be divided into small groups and work to develop their own projects.
