Magdalena Pospieszyńska-Wojtkowiak is a Deputy Dean at the Faculty of Philology, State University of Applied Sciences in Konin, Poland.
She teaches descriptive and practical phonetics and TEFL courses. Her main interests lie in personality and individual differences in language learning.
Magdalena Pospieszyńska-Wojtkowiak received her PhD in applied linguistics at the English Department, University of Warsaw. Her thesis entitled Individual Differences and Oral Attainment in Foreign Language Learning was written under the supervision of professor Jerzy Zybert.
Magdalena Pospieszyńska-Wojtkowiak was awarded a scholarship (SOCRATES-ERASMUS) to Mid Sweden University in Härnösand where she lectured on prosodic features and FL comprehension and the correlation between introverts’ and extraverts’ reasoning and their preference of test items.
She was also involved in the organizational works of a number of conferences organized or co-organized by her Faculty.
Magdalena Pospieszyńska-Wojtkowiak attended many International conferences where she gave lectures on teaching phonetics, the place of pronunciation in the language curriculum, the evaluation techniques of oral presentations and many more. She has got more than 15 publications.
