Dr. Jinghua Fan is a lecturer in Singapore Centre for Chinese Language, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is also a poet and a translator.
Jinghua Fan graduated from Beijing Normal University in 1987, and then studied and did research in Singapore National University of Singapore and Indiana University (Bloomington) USA. His studies and researches cover language education, literary studies, translation and creative writing.
Since joining Singapore Centre for Chinese Language in 2010, Dr Fan has been the PI for six research projects on language teaching sponsored or commissioned by Singapore Ministry of Education, and his publications include academic papers on literature and language, translations of poetry and academic books, textbooks, poetry and picture books.
