Natalie Avagyan

Natalie Avagyan graduated from Yerevan State University, Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology (English Department) in 1998. Since then she has been teaching ESP in different faculties, namely International Relations, Political Science, Economics, Journalism, Oriental Studies, Public Administration, Arts and many more.
She is the co-author of two text-books, the first one “On Democracy in English” which was specially compiled and published for advanced students of International Relations, Political Science, Public Administration and is successfully practiced for many years and up to now. The second one will soon be published under the title of “Defining Culture” designed and worked out for the students of Arts, Oriental Studies, Cross-Cultural Communication.
Natalie Avagyan is also the author of numerous articles particularly focusing on polysemy, ambiguity of words in English, introduction of games into the process of English language learning and incorporation of technologies and different apps which enhance and facilitate teaching and learning processes.
Her vocational interests mainly refer to the sphere of methodology, to elaboration of specific and effective methods of English learning for ESP students by combining traditional time-tested methods with newly-introduced ones basing on innovative technologies, use of various gadgets in the classroom.
She is also interested in adult and e-learning.
