Behdokht Mall-Amiri received her Master's degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) in 1997 from Islamic Azad University, Tehran Central Branch. In 2007 she graduated from Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Campus, receiving PhD degree. Presently, she is an assistant professor at Islamic Azad University as a faculty member offering courses such as teaching methodology, Principles of Research, and Linguistics for Masters candidates.
She has been active since 2007 specifically in conducting and publishing research studies related to English language teaching techniques, Program Evaluation, and personality type- related methods. As a lecturer, she also offers similar courses at other English language faculties in Iran. Her further activities include reviewing articles for JELS (Journal of English Language Studies) issued in IAU, Tehran central branch, and some other domestic journals.
As a faculty member of the IAU, she has actively taught several subject matters since 1997 including Fundamentals of Translation, Testing, and Linguistics.
She has also participated in several domestic and abroad conferences related to applied linguistics field presenting the research results conducted on the afore-mentioned domains.
Areas of interest: Teaching methodology and techniques, Psychology for teaching, quantitative research, and L2 learning.
Areas of expertise: Research methodology, teaching methodology, Translation, Statistical analysis.
