I am a PhD student at the Pedagogy Department of the "Roma Tre" University, Rome, Italy. I have been a primary school teacher for almost twenty-five years, teaching the Italian and English languages. I have had an international education: a four-year University Degree Course in Foreign Languages and Literatures at "Roma Tre"; four years studying for a University Degree in "Simultaneous and Consecutive Interpretation in International Conferences" in Bruxelles, Belgium, languages Italian, English and French; I attended an "International Interpretation Course" Cambridge, Uk, languages Italian, English and French; I obtained a II level Master in Italian-School Management and Leadership from the UNISU Human Sciences On-Line University; these only to list the most important international educational qualifiactions obtained.
While teaching students and studying at the same time, I focused my attention, as if using a mirror, on finding ways of keeping motivation high, by seeking to improve my didactic tools constantly, conjugating them with truly interesting educational content. Trying to strike a balance between the theory and practice of learning and teaching a foreign Language, I believe I nearly always reached my goal: arousing students' interest and curiosity while backing their efforts and limiting the boundaries a foreign language may pose to the endless learning process.
