Sumantri has graduated from State University of Jakarta, Indonesia, in the field of Educational technology (PhD), and undergraduate level in English Literature and Physical education, he is an expert in basic education, and he has been involved 20th years in educational technology and focus on basic education.
Sumantri has been working with his colleague in March 2016, who named is Nindya as English scholars that engage in research development model of English teaching materials in primary student which funded by Government of Republic of Indonesia.
Sumantri has work as a lecturer who teaches information technology course and communication course in the post-graduate education in State University of Jakarta and he teaches in Media learning course, Curriculum development, and Instructional design. In 2015 as the author of a learning strategy which published nationally in Indonesia, Sumantri has been research done in that area which relevant in educational technology focusing in primary education level. Since 2009 until now Sumantri has duty as Secretary of the Elementary Education Studies Program in State University of Jakarta, Indonesia. He is also as a member of AECT since 2013.
