Olga Eremina

Olga Eremina received her degree of "candidate of philology" (Russian equivalent of PhD) in 2004, her dissertation was devoted to development of metaphorical meanings of nouns in Russian leterature of 19-20 centuries. She received her PhD in Linguistics in 2012 (Michigan State University, the USA), with dissertation on formal semantics of Russian indefinite pronouns.

Olga has 16 years of experience as a teacher of Russian as a second language. She also taught various courses in Linguistics at different universities in Russia and the USA.

Since 2013 Olga has been apointed as an associate professor of School of Linguistics and the Director of Center of Russian as a Foreign Language at the Faculty of Humanities of National Research University "Higher School of Economics".

Her research interests include: Semantics, Semantics-Syntax interfaces, second language acquisition, heritage speakers and language acquisition,corpus linguistics
