Innovation in Language Learning

Elina Stepanyan is currently a PHD student at the University of Padova, carrying out her second academic year at the Department of Literary Sciences and Linguistics. Elina launched her academic activity in Yerevan State University after V. Brusov in 2006 specializing in English and French languages. She prolonged her education in the USA majoring in International Relations, where she was simultaneously gaining experience in Local Municipality and the County Court as an intern. She served in various social organizations holding different positions during and after her foreign schooling. Graduating from the YSLU after V. Brusov in 2010 Elina was awarded the PSFP Fellowship by the US Embassy and so was assigned to provide assistance to the newly established UNESCO Chair of Educational Management at the Armenian State University by assisting the chair holder and the delegation of foreign guest speakers invited from the US. For the years of 2011 and 2012 she worked at the Human Rights and Conflict Research Institute as a project manager and interpreter. In 2012, being awarded an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship, Elina commenced her education in Europe in order to acquire her Master’s degree in Sustainable Territorial Development in three European countries including Italy, France and Belgium. Completing her Master’s degree in the beginning of 2015 she afterwards started a PHD at the University of Padova in the Department of Literary Sciences and Linguistics as a scholarship awardee.
