Abstract

Physical education is an important activity of youth employment, bringing together many children and young people, most often associated with the well-being of young people, where, unfortunately, social problems in society are often highlighted in this context [3].  The latter could be understood as social conditions that a certain part of society considers harmful to its members and need to be corrected [1]. A social problem comes to the fore when a social entity to pay attention to the state or behavior,  prevailing in society, which is considered undesirable and must be corrected [2]. The problem of the study is raised by the question, what types of social problems are distinguished in non-formal physical education? The purpose of the study is to identify trends in the analysis of social problems in non-formal physical education observed in scientific studies, to distinguish types of social problems. Research method - systematic analysis of scientific literature. The search for literary sources was carried out in the EBSCO and Google Scholar databases by keywords as  “bullying in sports”, "non-formal physical education", “social problem as social exclusion”, “antisocial and delinquent behavior”, “psychological an physical violence”, etc. Scientific sources met the selection criteria if the sources were published in lithuanian and english and not older than 10 years, the content of the sources corresponded to the keywords of the topic under consideration. When the content of the summary corresponded to the topic, full-text publications were analyzed. Results and conclusions:  in the scientific literature, the most frequently distinguished social problems are no exception in non-formal physical education and reflects in various contexts by identifying social problems such as bullying, harassment and coercion, violence (physical violence/sexual violence/ psychological violence/ abuse/ abuse (non-accidental violence), antisocial behavior (criminal behavior/ /aggressive behavior  and social dominance), victimization, gender inequality, prejudice against LGBT and related social issue stags. Analysis synthesizes empirical research on the types of social problems that manifest themselves in non-formal physical education and complements scientific information, is useful for participants in non-formal physical education to make decisions to eliminate social problems and create a safe environment for physical and non-formal physical education.
