Abstract

In the context of m-learning it is important to take into account the specifics (technological and pedagogical opportunities) in the concrete mobile technology, which will support the education of students. Each course passes through a specific 'framework' - sequence of steps. First of them is identify the profile of the trainees.

An important issue in the design of m-learning is to identify the possibilities for the application of mobile devices for learning among the target group.

For this purpose it is necessary to gather information the opinions of students, the opportunities and future challenges in the use of m-technologies in the educational process.

In this study we present m-learning course survey and its analysis conducted among pre-service teachers from Sofia University.

This analysis includes specifics of the learning and the preferences of students to receive information via m-devices that they use in their daily lives.

For the learners'  survey we include questions to determine the profile of the students in terms of motivation for learning; learning style; the level of learning experiences; preferred ways of receiving feedback.
