Abstract
Paper is designed to present an overview on the state of art on new environmental sciences education and training approaches and methodologies to meet the ever increasing sustainable livelihood demands at global, regional, national and local levels. It demonstrates that how the UNCSD Rio+20 Focal Point in New Libya is playing the vital role for effective education & training using best practice UNISPAR, PRIME, GRIP, MOST, EU-IOPP, & MAB UNESCO blended learning approaches that helps bringing together knowledge provides, users and play in leveling the varied content knowledge, expertise and experience of sustainable development professionals. It highlights how a strategy and plan of action to meet the challenges of change and development in environmental sciences & engineering capacity development & training is monitored to develop the vital skills and experience of sustainable development professionals needed to perform their more challenging roles, tasks and functions with greater coordination among stakeholders.
Finally it provides a framework approach based on an inventory of the situation allowing to highlight good practices and propose recommendations and key messages as outcomes to design and develop a wide range of formal science education & training programs using education and new learning technologies for the enhancement of sustainable livelihood in general and rebuilding New Libya in particular.
