Abstract

Scientific communication is a fundamental thing for the existence and development of Science. The motivation of this paper was the need of teachers and researchers at UCLV for communicating research results in the Web of Science and indexed magazines. The Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Pharmacy is well known for the highest levels of publications in the WoS and indexed magazines, but the number of researchers and teachers is larger than the number of publications yearly. A web tool was developed to improve the Chemical Engineering and Pharmacy teachers and researchers linguistic competence to disseminate their research results in English. This is a pilot study with this Faculty that can be put into practice with teachers and researchers of other faculties since communication of scientific results is an imperative for UCLV to raise the quantity and quality of the publication index.
