Aida Zhupa teaches, from more than 25 years, social subjects and topics in the "Hospitality & Tourism" high school in Tirana. She is a qualified and certified national trainer on gender issues.
Aida graduated in 1987 at the University of Tirana, majoring in Political Sciences and Law. Since then, she has obtained numerous qualifications as a teacher, including a certification as a Gender Trainer from the ITK and KulturKontakt – Austria.
Aida has lectured in a series of trainings in Albania, for more than 7 years, as part of a national project to increase gender awareness and promote gender equality in education.
She is currently in the final stages of her doctoral studies to obtain a Ph.D. in Socialogy from the European University in Tirana. During her doctoral studies, Aida has participated in various international conferences, in different European countries, and has published most of the articles and studies performed in the course of her doctoral studies.
A number of the publications are co-authored by her doctoral mentor, the renowned Albanian academic, Prof. Dr. Fatos Tarifa.

Aida has been an examiner for the national exams in high schools and secondary schools throughout Albania during the years 2008-2015.
Aida is certified as fund drafting questions National Matura, in the subjects: Sociology, Economics, Citizenship, Psychology, for discreet Years 2014 and 2015.
She is a member of the Evaluation Commission to assess the candidates for the practice of teachers in pre-university education in Social Sciences 2014 and 2015.
