Chanelle Attard is a twenty four year old educator, with a three year progressive experience in St. Clare’s College Sliema, a Maltese secondary boys’ school, assigned to teach Integrated Science and Physics.
Graduating in Education with specialisation in Physics from the University of Malta, with a first-class Honours degree in 2013, she employs and puts to work the knowledge gained through the four-year course, aiming to effectively enhance the learning experience of every student. The research study supporting her academic degree, focused on the introduction of Interactive Whiteboards in all Maltese state secondary schools. A dissertation which was designed to attain a thorough analysis of how this relatively new digital resource has influenced the teachers’ and students’ educational interactions.
Chanelle’s current teaching experience is not the only involvement within the educational sector. In fact, Attard has worked in an entity within the Ministry of Education, Foundation for Educational Services, providing child-care and after-school care.
