New Perspectives in Science Education

Christine Heidinger, psychologist, research assistant at the AECC Biology since 2009. Her expertise is in quantitative and qualitative research methods, philosophy of science and learning theories. She is currently working on her dissertation in the field of authentic learning environments for inquiry based science education. She developed and implemented various student-scientist-partnerships together with science educators and science teachers (e.g. in the project KiP*Kids Participation in Research). She teaches IBSE and NoS-teaching in in- and pre-service teacher training programs.
