New Perspectives in Science Education

Julie Dunne holds a PhD in Chemistry, a Postgraduate Certificate in 3rd Level Teaching, and an MA in Higher Education. She is a lecturer in food and medicinal chemistry in Dublin Institute of technology. She is a co-organiser of the annual science fair Scifest@College in DIT and is the project coordinator of the SwitchOnSTEM project funded through Science Foundation Ireland. Her pedagogical research interests include integration of technology, peer learning, STEM engagement, work placement learning, and graduate attributes in undergraduate education.
