Shaher Elayyan got bachelor's and master's degree in physics, and a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction (C & I) with a specialization in science education. He worked about 2 years as a supervisor in Physics Lab., 11 years as a lecturer for undergraduate physics disciplines in Jordan. Presently he is an assistant professor in curriculum and instruction department in the King Faisal University (KFU) in Saudi Arabia.
In addition to courses' teaching related to his specialization, Shaher participated in many activities in the university such as: curricula development committee, Pre-service Teacher Office (PSTO), the quality assurance committee, and a coordinator of the courses in his department.
Shaher has 6 books (in Arabic) in physics and science education, his interests related to:
1- Teaching and Learning science.
2- Neuroscience in teaching and learning.
3- Nano Science Issues.
4- Mathematical models.
