Denise Galante is Independent Permanent Researcher at the Institute for Chemical Science and Technologies “Giulio Natta” - National Research Council of Italy.
Denise graduated in Chemistry with honors from the University of Genoa in June 2009 and she successfully obtained her PhD in Neuroscience in 2016. Since then, she has been actively engaged in Scientific Research. focusing on amyloidogenic proteins in neurodegenerative diseases.
For several years Denise has been actively involved in establishing scientific laboratories, organizing conferences and workshops for Public Engagement, and promoting scientific knowledge in schools through educational programs. This involvement encompasses coordinating laboratory visits and facilitating special lectures by researchers.
In 2022, she took part in the science outreach project "Change the Game: playing to be trained for the challenges of a sustainable society,” aiming to develop new educational tools based on a gamification strategy.
