New Perspectives in Science Education

Gordana Vlahovic (PhD, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) is an Associate Professor and Chair at the Department of Environmental, Earth and Geospatial Sciences at North Carolina Central University. Dr. Vlahovic’s primary research interests are in the areas of seismotectonics and geohazards. She has worked extensively on the imaging of the intraplate seismic zones in North America using tomography and potential field methods. Her secondary research interest is in geoscience education.
