New Perspectives in Science Education

Sebastian Grobler is a university professor, director and producer of feature films. Since 2005 he has directed 9 feature films and 80 episodes of television series. His feature film debut The Whole Big Dream was nominated for the German Film Prize (“Lola”) as Best Film in 2011 and won 10 international awards. After completing a master's degree in German language and literature with a focus on theater and media, history and psychology at the University of Hamburg and a diploma in feature film directing at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy, he taught at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy and at the School of Art, Design, among others and Media (ADM) in Singapore. His research interests lie in the areas of staging and acting, history in film, visual studies and digital narratives. Sebastian is a member of the European Children's Film Association (ECFA), the Federal Association of Directors (BVR) and the European Film Academy (EFA).
