Penda Diop is a PhD student in education at the faculty of Education Sciences at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). Member of the Scientific and Technological Education Research Team (EREST) and the UNESCO Chair in Curriculum Development (UCCD) at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). Penda's research work focuses on Socially-Acute Questions (SAQs)in science context and their implementation in classes in Secondary Cycle 2(didactic of Socially-Acute questions).
With a background more than 10 years of experience in teaching and research in the education field, Mrs. Penda Diop believes that students learn better when they feel supported.
Her search topic is focused on Addressing Socially-Acute Questions in Science Classrooms in Secondary Cycle 2 in Quebec: a Portrait of Declared Teaching Practices.
