Ecoart Education Through The concept of Indigenous Wisdom Tri Hita Karana

Abstract

The rapid changes of globalization have a positive and negative impact on education in the archipelago. The strength of indigenous wisdom owned by the archipelago in the form of art and cultural diversity is expected to be the basis of defense in facing global challenges through the reactivation of arts and culture education of the archipelago based on local wisdom towards ecoart education. The concept of Indigenous wisdom tri hita karana is a concept to achieve harmony of the world of microcosm (human body) and macrocosmic world (universe). Tri Hita Karana is the three causes of happiness that can be achieved through a harmonious relationship with the three elements of the harmonious relationship with God (Parhayangan). Harmonious relationship with fellow human beings (Pawongan) and harmonious relationship with the natural environment (Palemahan). So that the teaching of Tri hita karana is a philosophy of life which is always held firm by Balinese people in achieving happiness wherever they are following the concept of village (place), kala (Time), patra (state). Through the concept of indegenous wisdom tri hita karana applied by the people of Bali is very suitable for use in the revitalization of cultural arts education in the archipelago of human consciousness to the ecology, which recently only linked to tourism and its relevance to economic development alone. The concept of tri hita karana is a guideline that can be used in maintaining human harmony with God, society and natural resources environment owned archipelago.
