Motivation in Learning Processes: Learning through Action

Abstract
The main purpose of this article is to offer a new approach in the learning techniques and approaches which could make a difference to improve learning processes and to develop positive attitudes towards learning a foreign language. As for this, motivational activities which include movement, music and active participation will be essential. Throughout this article, the reader will get to know different activity proposals in which adults and university students have participated. Moreover, the use of music and creativity in class will be critically analyzed as well as learning how to focus our attention, dealing with focused and diffuse thinking [1], the importance of problem solving in our students’ development and how to stimulate, improve and strengthen their skills and logical thinking. Moreover, we will provide practical examples to upgrade deductive and inductive reasoning and stimulate attention, motor skills and visual memory by creating a motivating challenging learning environment in class. In addition to this, some practical suggestions to be performed in groups of adults and university students will be presented.
