Exploring the Relationship between the Use of Authentic Materials and the Desire for Technology in Language Teaching

Abstract
This study examines the relationship between the use of authentic materials and the desire for increased technology use in language teaching within Albanian higher secondary education. The research was conducted as part of the project "The Impact of the 'Competence-Based Teaching' Curriculum on the Development of Communicative and Expressive Competence Among Foreign Language Students" (AKKSHI 2024).
The data analysis was conducted using SPSS or any other relevant statistical software to calculate the Pearson correlation coefficient and perform the t-test.
The findings from this study have several important applications for educational practices, especially in the context of foreign language teaching in Albanian higher secondary education. The relationship between the use of authentic materials and the desire for more technology integration provides valuable insights into enhancing language learning experiences
This research offers a unique contribution to the understanding of how the integration of authentic materials and technology in language teaching can impact students' communicative and expressive competence in Albanian higher secondary education
