Abstract

This study aims to design a home economics course program to develop students' sustainable life skills such as using machines, sewing clothes, preparing food for them and family communication skills. The study was conducted using document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods. The data needed in the study was accessed through keyword and topic-based searches via web-based searches. The data was analyzed in accordance with the purpose of the study and included in the scope of the research, and the results of previous studies on the subject were also added. According to the results obtained through document analysis, it is thought that after the training given to the students on the subject, they will develop as individuals who are more knowledgeable, better able to communicate, more skilled in machines and tools, and better able to use resources, and that they will exhibit a more positive attitude because the information they receive is for daily life and they will apply what they learn in daily life.
