Abstract
In Colombia, there are educational policies aimed at the creation of school environmental projects, known as PRAES. These projects seek to articulate with institutional educational projects (PEI) and generate cross-cutting processes that, from the curriculum, help transform customs and environmental culture towards sustainable practices and care for nature. Many of these projects have focused on different recycling initiatives or environmental tours in different institutions. However, these projects need resources and effective time that allow the execution and fulfillment of formative goals with students and communities. Therefore, generating from the institutional planning the guarantee of execution of these projects and their effects within the educational objectives allows innovations in the proposals and methodologies to carry them out. These environmental projects are very important in a country with high biodiversity and environmental conservation needs. Therefore, this research seeks to identify the best practices and tools for school planning that contribute to the fulfillment of the PRAE in different contexts.
