Adeljana Shehaj, University of Tirana (Albania)

Abstract

"To ask questions properly is to know how to teach. The art of teaching depends on the mastery of using questions, as it serves as a guide to vivid and clear ideas, rapidly stimulating imagination and thought that drives you to action."

Working with students is as exhausting as it is so beautiful as you spend most of it with them every day of the week. The topic I chose refers to the student and his abilities at school.

Assessment provides student motivation, learning readiness, learning orientation, individual development. Through evaluation, the student knows himself and helps in communicative habits.

To appreciate a student you must familiarize yourself with him, know them closely, notice his shortcomings, move on and not be the last of the class.

The more students learn, activated in each class, the more satisfied you are as a teacher and the class becomes an example for the whole school.

Thomas Elliott said that there is nothing permanent but change. What is characterizing the world and humanity are the rapid changes, such as technology development, new demands on the labor market, social relations, human aspirations in the new century, etc. Undoubtedly, these changes, education must be responded to with rapid and qualitative rates.

The future requires the individual to be a lifelong learner, to have good communication skills, to use technology efficiently, to be able to solve problems, to develop critical and creative thinking, to undertake initiatives and initiatives, etc. All of these are related to the concept of lifelong learning competences, which enable the training of individuals to be successful in personal, social and professional life.

Education, in general, and curricula, in particular, should aim to form these comepetines. This is the main focus of the new curricular reform, which included all cycles of pre-university education, as well as all fields and teaching subjects.
