Mădălina Chitez is a researcher in applied corpus linguistics at the West University of Timisoara, Romania. Holding a PhD from the Albert-Ludwig University of Freiburg, Germany, she has worked at several prestigious European universities, including Oxford (UK), Siena, (Italy) and Zurich (Switzerland). She is the founder and president of CODHUS (Centre for Corpus-Related Digital Approaches to Humanities), a research center that conducts multidisciplinary studies at the intersection of corpus linguistics, digital humanities, and natural language processing, with a focus on generating educational impact.
