Dr. Jon Yoshioka is an Associate Professor in the Institute for Teacher Education at the
University of Hawaii at Manoa.
He received his B.S. and M.S in Biochemistry from the University of California at
Riverside, an MBA in Marketing from California State University at San Bernardino, and
his PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
He taught in Hawaii's public and private schools for over a decade and has also taught
in Guam and American Samoa. He currently teaches at the University of Hawaii at
Manoa in the Institute for Teacher Education's Master of Education in Teaching
Program. He is also the Director of the Territorial Teacher Training Apprenticeship
Program that serves American Samoa.
