Vilma Mikašytė is a PhD student of Educational Siences at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU). At the same institution, she also works as the Administrator for Science Production at the Faculty of Informatics and as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities.
Vilma graduated in linguistics – English Philology from Vytautas Magnus University in 2014 as well as Sociolinguistics and Multilingualism from Vytautas Magnus University and Johannes Gutenberg University in 2016. Since then, she has constantly been working in the field of teaching and doing research on innovatively taught foreign languages.
Vilma has been the chair of the organizational committees of two international conferences, namely, “Information Society and University Studies” (IVUS 2017) and “International Conference on Information and Software Technologies” (ICIST 2017).
Areas of expertise: English as a Foreign Language, Technology-enhanced Language Learning, Innovation in Education.
