The Future of Education

Vesna Kovač is an associate professor from Croatia, employed at the University of Rijeka - Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Education.
Vesna Kovač received her PhD in the field of educational policy and management in 2004, defending the theses titled „Conceptions of governance of higher education institutions as an assumption for the introducement of quality assurance system“. Her main research interest has been firstly focused in the field of management and leadership within higher education institutions and system, while the recent research focus has been also focused in the field of the management and leadership in the pre-tertiary education.
Her most recent administrative positions and duties:
• Head of Doctoral Study Programme of Education at the Deparment of Education;
• Head of Center of Teacher Education at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Studies Rijeka;
• Head of the team responsible for development of institutional strategy and first author of document Strategy of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Studies Rijeka
• Member of the Quality Team at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Rijeka.
