Andrei-Mugur GEORGESCU is associated professor, at the Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest, Hydraulics and Environmental Protection Department
He graduated the Building Services Faculty of the Technical University of Civil Engineering in 1987. Since then he has been working in the Hydraulics and Environmental Protection Department of the university. He got a PhD in Hydraulics and Fluid Mechanics in 1999.
Andrei-Mugur GEORGESCU is an expert in flow trough pipes and conduits, hydraulic machinery, wind engineering, measurement and data acquisition techniques in fluid mechanics.
So far Andrei-Mugur GEORGESCU has published 5 books and more than 30 papers in scientific journals. He has been involved more than 20 scientific projects and also participated in 4 European education grants.
Andrei-Mugur GEORGESCU has been invited to chair different sections at International Conferences on Hydraulic Machinery and Ocean Energy. He has developed cooperation between the Hydraulic and Environmental Protection Department of the university and other national and international academic and research teams.
He is also an external reviewer for 4 scientific journals and external evaluator of projects for the Romanian Authority of Scientific Research.
