The Future of Education

I am in my third year of teaching fourth grade in the state of Utah. I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in teaching English language learners from BYU in 2022. I am currently enrolled in the Teacher Education master's program at BYU. I am very interested in parent engagement practice between English-speaking teachers and Spanish-speaking parents. I attended and presented at the Sociocultural Theory and Second Language Learning Research Working Group Meeting in Boston in October of 2023. I am very excited to receive feedback on my thesis and to learn from educators around the world at this conference.
