The Future of Education

Was the first director of the Distance Learning Unit of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (UED). He was vice-president of the ESECS board of directors, where he was responsible for setting up the Resource Centre for Digital Inclusion (CRID) and coordinated the Pedagogical Use of ICT programme in public primary schools in the Leiria district. He has coordinated several European projects.
From 2013 to 2015 he was a consultant in the area of distance education and new educational technologies in Luanda for the Angolan Ministry of Education. His areas of interest are communities of practice, educational technologies, distance education, artificial intelligence in education and pedagogical innovation.
