Diane Boothe

Diane Boothe is Director of P-20 Outreach and Professor at Boise State University. She served as Dean of the College of Education from 2005-2014. She received her Doctor of Public Administration degree from the University of Southern California in 1991. Her primary research efforts have been in the areas of English Language Learning, Gifted and Talented Education, and Middle Grades Education. She has served in leadership positions as the President of Georgia TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages), TESOL International Higher Education Chair, and the TESOL International Nominating Committee.

Diane has served as the keynote or featured speaker and delivered the plenary session for international and national conferences. Prior to coming to Boise State University, she served as Department Chair of Curriculum and Instruction and Professor at the University of West Georgia.

Area/s of Expertise: English Language Learning, Gifted and Talented Education, Middle Grades Education.
