The Future of Education

Vida Drąsutė works in the main position as Project manager in the Dean's office, Faculty of Informatics, Kaunas University of Technology (KTU).

She is graduated in Computer Sciences – master degree in KTU in 2007. Since then she has constantly been working in the field where technologies are applied in education, also collaboration and coordination of European projects. At the moment she is continuing studies for the Doctor of Science degree (D.Sc.) (equates with a Ph.D) in Informatics Engineering in KTU.

Vida Drąsutė is a Board member of Lithuanian Distance and e-Learning (LieDM) Association since 2010 01, till then she was a coordinator of Lithuanian Distance Education Network Infrastructure. She is experienced in formal and non-formal education improvement and development of e-learning possibilities, e-learning process improvement and tools development for e-learning encouragement in educational institutions. She has long lasting experience in organizing various courses, coordinating e-learning infrastructure development cases, implementing the tasks for fostering e-learning processes within virtual environments, supporting educators and lecturing as lecturer in the university also in other institutions as invited lecturer.

Vida Drąsutė is invited and participate in many national and international conferences as speaker and takes part in different courses for qualification improvement, publishes articles concerned with the improvement of education, the use and advantages of innovative technologies, their adaptation and improvement.
