Diane Boothe is Director of P-20 Outreach and Professor of Literacy, Language and Culture at Boise State University. She served as Dean of the College of Education at Boise State University from 2005-2014. Prior to that assignment, she was Department Chair and Professor at the University of West Georgia. Diane received the Fulbright Education Administrator Award to France for Fall 2014. She has provided leadership as President of the Idaho Association of Colleges of Education from 2012-14. She holds a doctorate in public administration from the University of Southern California School of Policy, Planning and Development. She was president of Georgia Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and Chair of the Higher Education Interest Section for TESOL International. Diane co-authored a book with Julian Stanley titled, In the Eyes of the Beholder: Cultural Issues for Diversity in Gifted Education, and has a strong interest in cultural diversity, multiculturalism and internationalization.
