Denise Esteves is an anthropologist with a degree from the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra and has a master's degree in sociology from the School of Economics of the same university. She is a PhD candidate in Human Rights in Contemporary Societies led by the Centre for Social Studies and the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research of the University of Coimbra. Since 2011, Denise Esteves is also a junior researcher at the Centre for Social Studies, Associate Laboratory. She is a member of the research team on the project called "The Ethics of Students and the Tolerance of Teachers and Institutions in relation to Academic Fraud" sponsored by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). Her main research interests issues are Higher Education, Ethics and Academic Fraud, Innovative learning environments, learning networks.
