Dr. Karin Bakracevic Vukman is Professor of Psychology at the Faculty of Arts, University of Maribor.
She graduated in Psychology from the University of Ljubljana and finished her PhD in Developmental psychology in 1995. She is working at the Department of Psychology, University of Maribor.
Her scientific research work deals predominantly with cognitive and socio-emotional development in children and adolescents.
Dr. Bakracevic participated in several scientific-research projects in the field of developmental and educational psychology and she was responsible for the Slovenian part of the European project "EU Pre-pilot Study on Learning to Learn" and "TranSpace" project.
She has been a member of the European Research Network on Learning to Learn coordinated by CRELL: Centre for Research on Life-long Learning, and she served as evaluator in several European projects.
Dr. Karin Bakracevic Vukman reported on her research on numerous conferences: i.e. European Association for research on Learning and Instruction, European Conference on Educational Research, European Society for developmental Psychology... She is member of several professional societies and editorial board member of two scientific journals.
